Lewis, her half-brother, became a member of her household until 1860. He is a farmer; his farm lies immediately west of here. His life has been somewhat checkered and uneven but he has always sustained his integrity and has lived an honorable and upright life. George W. Young, brother to the other two Youngs, came in 1848, aged 3 years and stayed until June 1860. In 1852,
Caroline Binkley, now the wife of William W. Young, became a member of the household. She married 11 Apr 1858. In 1857, Monroe and John Hicks became household members at the age of 7 and 9, respectively. Monroe died some years ago and John lives on the west side of the county. He is a teacher of vocal music. In 1864, Nannie Goddard, her granddaughter, was taken into the home at age of 4 years. She is now the wife of John Spiller.
