Fire at 3:15 am Friday damaged the Marion Bowl on Rt. 13 west of Marion. Fireman who fought the blaze for nearly two hours and prevented total loss of the elaborate bowling establishment expressed the opinion that the fire started from electric wiring in the attic. Continue reading

The fire department was called Friday evening to the Marion Bowling Alley on North Market Street when paper around the flue caught fire. The blaze was extinguished without serious damage.
