Six chorus girls thank patrolman Harry Thompson for a night’s lodging. The girls, part of a show troupe taking part in the Williamson County Fair, arrived here to find they had no hotel reservations. The girls were allowed to sleep in the City Jail.

This picture was obtained by a member of the Historical Society off of Ebay. It depicts a group of people on a wagon purchased from J.B. Heyde in Marion and was taken in 1903. No other information is known about it. If anyone recognizes anyone in the picture please let us know.
