A small store owned by Arthur Stanley, 511 S. Court St. was visited by a small blaze about 10 o’clock Sunday evening that caused a heavy loss due to smoke and water. The origin of the fire is not known but it is thought that to have caught from a box of matches in a cigar case that may have been ignited by mice.
